We are on phase 2 of a 4 part vision for our Oak Creek Academy school building and community growth - our immediate need is replacement of 24 HVAC Units! Will you support our vision?
This is our general giving page where you can make one-time or recurring donations. Funds go towards daily operation and education costs or can be designated towards our scholarship fund.
Interested in becoming a sponsor, providing on-going financial support, or creating a scholarship endowment? Together we can watch the seeds of today, grow into mighty oaks tomorrow.
The Oak Creek community is a non-profit 501c3 – which means we do not receive any government funding. Our academy is fully funded by parent contributions and donations from the community. We are in dire need of financial support from sponsors and donors.
We believe that all students deserve the chance to learn in an environment that fosters their social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. But, many families that come to us seeking a non-traditional learning environment are not able to afford tuition. The difference in a traditional and non-traditional learning environment can mean a huge difference to the success of a student. Our non-traditional classrooms are able to meet the special needs, behavioral challenges, and academic struggles of exceptional students.
It is no secret that attending an independent school usually comes with paying tuition. One might even think that with these streams of money coming in, private schools would be set for the school year (and beyond!). So, if you are here you may be wondering, “Why would a school that receives tuition per child require community donations or support?” That is a great question and one we would be happy to answer!
Please consider one of the several options for giving into the Oak Creek Academy Fund. All donations go toward furthing the mission and vision of Oak Creek Academy. Your support means the world to a child who needs an encouraging environment to learn, grow, and succeed. Because Oak Creek Academy is a non-profit 501(C)(3), all gifts are tax deductible and a letter will be sent to you with the donation amount and our tax id number.
Oak Creek Academy is providing an invaluable service to families in the Killeen and Bell County area. Did you know that as a non-profit 501c3, we do not receive any government funding for building maintenance, supplies, facility upgrades, education costs, or scholarships – and tuition alone doesn’t cover all of our costs. Which is why we need people just like you to help us make a difference in the lives of our special needs children. Many of the families with exceptional children who would benefit most from a non-traditional learning environment are unable to cover the costs of tuition. But with your help we can offer scholarships, cover educating costs and staffing, upgrade our building, and watch our amazing community grow.
